ASM Disk Group Configuration Recommendation
1. Create three disk groups.
The first one is for the datafile (DATA_DG)
The second one is for the redo log file (REDO_DG)
The last one is for the archive log file (ARCH_DG).
2. Allocate only the datafiles to DATA_DG.
3. Allocate all the redo log files and the control file to REDO_DG.
4. Allocate all the archive log files and a mirror of the control file to ARCH_DG.
