Solving Automatic Storage Management (ASM) Target down in Enterprise Manager Grid 11.1 :
OEM Grid Control 11g -> All Targets -> select the downed ASM instance then click "Configure"
-> Fill out all the Properties needed:
Oracle home path,username: sys, password:********,Role: sysdba,Machine name,Port,SID)
-> Test Connection
-> If Information: Test Successful
-> Click OK
